How to Use the Bridge Cam Gauge


The Bridge cam gauge is an exclusive and multipurpose welding gauge used especially on welded surface and joints. It is a very handy visual inspection tool for welding inspectors.

The gauge has a rotating dial and a sliding pointer to measure weld features. The measurement is displayed in inches and millimeter up to 2” or 60mm.

You can use the Bridge Cam Gauge to measure the following:

1. The angle of preparation from 0 to 60 deg
2. Excess weld metal ( welding cap or capping size )
3. The depth of welding undercut or pitting
4. Fillet weld throat size
5. Fillet leg length
6. Misalignment ( high-low )
